Millinocket, Maine - Wanita M. (Plourde) Cyr, 90, of Millinocket, Maine, passed away peacefully after a short illness Monday, April 13, 2026, at home with her family at her side. Born February 8, 1936, in Fort Kent, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Delia (Dubois) Plourde. Wanita was the beloved wife of Donald T. Cyr of St. John, Maine, for 70 years.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket, ME. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. Immediately following Mass, inurnment will take place at Millinocket Cemetery, with a reception to follow at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
