Winslow, Maine - Walter "Brad" Warme of Winslow, ME, passed away on May 31, 2026. Walter Bradford Warme affectionately known as "Brad" by his family and friends was born on August 20, 1943, in Brockton, MA, to Arnold H. and Dorothy (Nevens) Warme.

Brad spent much of his career in real estate and later as the owner of Pearle Visions of Maine. Brad was an avid golfer and found great joy on the course, especially when playing alongside his sons and lifelong friend, Phil Goldthwait. He also loved to captain his boat and fly his plane earning him the nickname to some as "Captain Brad," which he liked.

Brad was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary, whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion; his sisters, Nancy Peterson and Patty Cornetta; and his brothers-in-law, Frederick Tully and Gerald Theriault. Brad is survived by his sons, Steve Warme and his wife, Catherine, and their children, Aidan and Maeve of Winslow, Maine, David and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Molly, of Hampden, ME, and John and his wife, Melissa, and their children, Chatham and Quinn, of San Juan Capistrano, CA; sister, Norma Theriault; brother, Skip Warme; sisters-in-law, Kathie Tully and Dotti Tully; brothers-in-law, Richie Peterson and Dick Cornetta; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Brad will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A private celebration of life will be held in August in Plymouth, MA.
