Searsport - SEARSPORT - Vickie Irene Bradley Wilson, 69, of Searsport, passed away peacefully at home, on October 7, 2015. She was born December 26, 1945, in Belfast, to the late Earl and Edith (Engstrom) Bradley.
She graduated in 1964 from SDHS. She married her husband, Jim, in June of 1964. She loved to crochet, antiquing and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed time with her cats, and her best friends, Sandy, Barbie, Gloria and Avis.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James E. Wilson, of Searsport; her daughter and best friend, Wendy L. Wilson Dunbar and husband, Derek; and loving grandson, Kyle, of Searsport; great-granddaughter, Christian of Belfast; son, Donald J. Wilson and wife, Ellen; and grandchildren, Larry and Angela, all of NC.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2015, at 12:00pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Searsport. In keeping with Vickie's love of cats, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
