Always sad to see another classmate leave us, as Mr. Oakes told us while we were all on stage for graduation ,please look around at all of your classmates because you will never all be together like this again, how true that was, Rest in peace Vernon.

Vernon was a well-liked classmate and his passing leaves a void here on earth. But isn’t that heaven’s gain... In school Vernon was a “gentle giant.” He always had an opinion, but he only shared it when asked, a trait that many of us could benefit from. My prayers to his sisters and the others he’s left behind.
