Bangor, Maine - Thomas S. Neill, 91, passed away on May 13, 2026, at home with his children by his side. He was born December 22, 1934, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas Neill and Doris (Shaw) Neill.

Tom loved his family time, playing basketball with his sons, camping in New Hampshire, hiking at Acadia, and Red Sox games. He also enjoyed working in his large vegetable garden, golfing, fishing, and going to the Hampden Academy basketball games with his neighbor. In 1956, he married the love of his life. They were married for 69 years.

He is survived by his children, Thomas W. Neill of Bangor, Stephen W. Neill and his wife, Sherry, of Clifton, David E. Neill of Winthrop, and Karen J. Neill of Bangor; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Adella on May 1, 2026; his parents; one grandchild; one brother, and one sister.

Tom was a very devoted husband and father to his children. He will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held at a later date for both Thomas and Adella at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden. A date and time will be announced.
