It was a great to work with you Teresa. We chatted quite a bit when I was up in the QC office about pretty much anything - and more often than not we always had a good laugh about everything. It's sad that you're gone, and the last year without you at work was weird not seeing you doing quality checks - but I'm also glad that you're no longer in pain. Hope they got some great tunes wherever you're at!

I was a driver for Penquis for slightly over 5 years before I left on Jan. 31st. I met Teresa last year when her name was on my transportation list for that day. She was very pleasant and friendly and talked of her time working in Guilford and the friends she made and how she missed them. She talked of her dog and old cat, sorry, I don't remember the names. She talked of many things she had done in her lifetime and spoke of things she'd like to do again someday. She spoke of her cancer and, at times, what was happening to her, but never once did she ever speak about giving up. I transported her either to Augusta or back home maybe a dozen times. We knew each other by name and she always smi...led when she saw that I was her driver. She was strong and was taken away too soon. Teresa was the last person I transported on Jan. 31st, my last day at work. We both said that even though I was finished driving, we'd see each other around. We had run into each other a few times at Bud's Hannaford. I guess that won't happen now. I'm going to miss her...she truly fought hard. Rest in Peace now Teresa....you are home, HalRead more
