Bangor - BANGOR- Susan Hutchinson, 71, died at her home on June 3, 2019 after a brief illness.

Sue was born April 12, 1948 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, the daughter of Walter G. and Helen F. (Peterson) Hoefler.

Many will recognize Sue, as she worked at Marden's for many years, where she was loved by her many "regular" customers and colleagues.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, Larry Hutchinson. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Ware of Orrington, Cynthia Emerson of Brewer, Holly McDougall of Hudson; and sisters Ruth Cotta, Jane Steinhauser and Deb Edwards; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends Linda, Judy, and Shirley.

A family graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bangor on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. Following the service, the family invites friends and family to a celebration of life gathering at the home of Sandra Ware and Chuck Gero, 882 Brewer Lake Road, Orrington from 12 noon-2 p.m. Visit kileyandfoley.com to offer condolences. Met Sue back in May of 1966 at her junior prom. Worked with her at Western Electric Co. in Union N.J. She was one of the best. Rest in peace Sue.

So sorry to learn of Sue's passing. I very much enjoyed working with her at Woolco Dept. Store in the early 80's. She was one of the bright spots of working at Woolco.

Sue was a dear friend of mine. I worked with her at Mardens for just a few years before she started her brief retirement. She was very generous and was always willing to help anyone who was in need. She will be greatly missed by many. Prayers are sent to her family and friends. RIP Sue.
