East Eddington, Maine - Steven D. Mann, 54, died unexpectedly November 2, 2021, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 25, 1967, in Bangor, the son of David R. and Helmtrud E. (Reitz) Mann.
Steven was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially loved the fall, spending time up at the camp in Township 32, with his friends.
Surviving are his sister, Lori Tripp and her fiancé, Trevor Dearborn, of Amherst; nieces, Casey Tripp and her fiancé, Tyler Strasenburgh, of Clifton, and Caitlin Tripp of Dedham; nephew, Kyle Tripp of Dedham; and many close friends and colleagues from the Penobscot Sherriff's Department. He was predeceased by his parents.
