Glenburn, Maine - Stephen Maynard Lane, 67 years old, passed away on June 25, 2024, doing what he loves working with his family. He was born on June 15, 1957, in Bangor, Maine. He is survived by his parents, Maynard Irving Lane and Pamela Dorothy Lane.

He spent many years as a pipe fitter to provide for his family. Stephen really loved family the most. He loved reading the bible and watching Christian TV on Sundays, with a strong and loving belief in the Lord. He loved camping with his family, planning long weekend getaways at the best camp spots. He was one of a kind! Someone everyone enjoyed talking about and hanging out with. In his younger days he loved playing football and then in his later years having football parties with friends and family. Hockey games at Orono were a big yearly event as well. Then when the grandchildren came, he was so involved that he spent every waking day worrying and helping in the care of those sweet grandchildren of his. Stephen will also be missed by his many friends and family.

He is survived by siblings, Brenda and predeceased, brother-in-law, Randy Hussey, Ann and husband, Michael Keezer, Clifford Lane and wife, Evelyn Lane, Nathan and Cindy Lane; and all of his children, Brandy with husband, Chris French, Eric with wife, Sarah Drew, Nicole Lane with life partner, Chad Noonan, Damien Lane, and Raquel Curtis with husband, Ryan Curtis. He was predeceased by his stepson, Brandon Wood. He is survived by his many grandchildren, Guy and Michael Jenkins, Addy Peterson, Kinsley Noonan, Jayde McClure, Maryiah Bailey, Savannah Lane, Sebastian Searway, Angelina Curtis, Calob, Lexia, Trinity, Jared, Hannah, and Elijah Drew, and Hunter Craig; and a great-grandson, Guy Jenkins II. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved so much. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for a stone.
