“Uncle” Steve was always holding the babies. Every get together we would hand off the babies and he would just hold them. He was there when I was taking classes to watch over my daughters and they really liked him. He was just a good person.

I was so sorry to learn of Steve's passing, condolences to his family. I worked with Steve for a few years at the Old Town paper mill, and got to know him. He was a great guy, for sure!
We had a lot of fun, talked often about life and sports! I used to occasionally ask him how his new book was coming along!
I will surely miss him. May God bless his family.
