Bangor, Maine - Sharon Amy (Baker) George died peacefully on August 20, 2023, in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1943, in Bangor, ME, the daughter of Clyde A. Baker and E. Barbara (Hayward) Baker, Sharon graduated from Brewer High School in 1961.

She later earned an associates degree in Business Management from Beal College, Bangor, ME. Sharon had many hobbies including reading, sewing, cooking and baking. She had a love for all animals. She retired from her career in business administration in 2005.

Surviving her is her daughter, Alana L. (George) Jandreau; and husband, Donald of Winterport; her niece, Robin L. Brundage and fiance, Rick Hanson, of Orrington. Sharon was predeceased by her father, Clyde A. Baker; mother, E. Barbara (Hayward) Baker; sister, Linda V. (Baker) Brundage; niece, Wendy M. Brundage.

To all who knew and loved Sharon, she wanted you to find comfort in knowing she lived a full and rich life. We would like to thank the outstanding doctors and nurses who cared for Sharon during her illness.

The family will not be having services at this time.
