Jay, Maine - Scott James McAlpine, passed away on October 19, 2025, due to an accident. He was born on March 12, 1964.

Scott grew up in Etna, and went to Nokomis Regional High in Newport. Scott worked for many years for GCA Logging in Avon.

He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Sandi McAlpine. He was the son of the late Dana and Patricia McAlpine Sr. Scott had a daughter, Amanda McAlpine, and a son, Dahlon Campbell. His brother, Charles "Paul" McAlpine, shared a bond that deepened with time. The joy of Scott's life was his grandkids, Taylin, Carter, Bentley and Grayson. Scott's nieces, Patricia and Loran, who will remember their uncle as a constant source of laughter and support. Scott had a sister-in-law, Jeannie, and son-in-law, Corey.

Scott loved riding his Harley with friends. As we say goodbye to Scott we do so with the knowledge that his spirit will continue to inspire us every day. Scott's journey on this earth has ended, but his story will be told for generations to come.

There will be a celebration of life at 4 p.m. November 15 at the Amvets, 111 Main St., Jay.
