S. Braley  Gray III
Durham, NC. - S. Braley (Beegie) Gray III passed away after a short illness on March 28, 2019. in Durham, North Carolina, He was 77.
He was born in Bangor and lived in Old Town until after college, to S. Braley Gray, Jr. and Corinne F. Gray, He graduated from Bowdoin and Babson Colleges.
Braley was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth and is survived by his daughters Anne and Rosie; a grandson Gael; his brother Alexander and two sisters Marshall and Lendon.
He led a full life with his family and friends, traveled extensively around the world and worked construction with H.E. Sargent, Inc. in banking with Bay Bank and in manufacturing at the Old Town Canoe Co. and Lambeth Corp. in New Bedford, MA. He became the owner of Lambeth until it was sold at his retirement. He was active in the communities in which he lived, starting a water ski club in Old Town, and served with the Children's Museum among others in South Dartmouth MA where he lived for many years. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
