Royce served time in the United States Army, 101st Airborn, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Royce worked for Great Northern Paper, Timberland Trucking as a dispatcher and long haul driver where he learned his walking roadmap skills, WT Gardners as a crane operator and most recently he traded in his work boots and jeans for dress shoes and dress shirts as he drove charter bus for Cyr Bus Lines and became part of a wonderful family there. He loved driving the bus and meeting new people along his travels. He especially enjoyed taking the Husson Football team and Coach Gabby Price to their games as well as his trips to Bar Harbor where he was almost always treated to a lobster dinner by his passengers. He had a way with people and I'm sure they will always remember him for "stirring the pot", and overall kindness he showed to all.

Royce will be missed by all who knew him. He cared for so many and would give his last dollar to help anyone. He left a smile on people's faces everywhere he went.

Until we meet again, save us some seats on that Golden Chariot in the Sky!

The family will be hosting memorial services 2 P.M. Saturday, March 23 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard Street, East Millinocket with the Rev. Kendall Sperrey, pastor, officiating. A reception will be held at the church after the services. Interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery at a later date. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.lamsonfh.com.
