Etna, Maine - Ronald W. Murray, 84, passed Sept. 24, 2025, at his home in Etna. He was born April 8, 1941, in Newport, the son of Arthur and Celina (Voisine) Murray.

Ronald was a graduate of Hampden Academy and served with the U.S. Air Force. He worked in financial services for 35 years with Prudential Insurance Co. Ronald was also a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Bangor.

He is survived by his wife, Azlida Murray of Etna; three children, Ronald W. Murray II and his wife, Nancy, of Tennessee, David A. Murray and his wife, Beverly, of Colorado, and Dale T. Murray and his wife, Kelly, of Bucksport; three stepchildren, Scott "Skip" Frazier and his wife, Shannon, of Georgia, Laurie Frazier and Randy of Iowa, and Holli Frazier of Colorado; grandchildren, Dakota, Kierstin, Aiden, Nicole, Brandon, Kyle, Devon, Channing, Cassie, Tekoa, Hattie, and Myles; and one sister, Sharon Murray of Bangor.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ohio Street, Bangor.
