Ronald Gordon Dinkins Obituary

Carmel, Maine - Ronald G. Dinkins of Carmel, born on January 6, 1964, went home to be with his lord and savior on September 13, 2025. Ron was born in Calais, Maine, son of Henry C. Dinkins and Maxine Flood Dinkins of Bangor.

Ron was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved hunting and trapping. He especially loved fly fishing. Ron belonged to many fishing clubs locally. He was a world class fly tier. He enjoyed teaching others through the years. Ron loved God and had strong faith. He shared his faith with everyone and led many people to the lord.

Ron is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Danico and special grandson, Corbyn, of Allagash, ME. Ron was an amazing father. They spent quality time together outdoors especially with their hounds over the years. He also leaves his two special brothers, Terry Dinkins and Garry Dinkins, of Bangor. He had many special friends over the years that he enjoyed his passion for the woods with. His best friends being Lee Chute of Bangor and Danny Pratt of Holden.

Family and Friends are welcome to call 3-6 p.m. October 4, 2025, at The Mansion Church in Bangor, ME. A burial will be held at a later date at Alexander Cemetery.
