Hampden, Maine - Roberta Ann (Daigle) Guerrette passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, in Hampden, Maine, surrounded by the love of her family. Roberta was born in St. Agatha, Maine, on April 10, 1946, to her devoted parents, Donat and Eva (Michaud) Daigle.

She was raised in the Catholic faith in St. Agatha on Long Lake, in the heart of the beautiful St. John Valley, a close-knit French community that shaped her values and spirit. Roberta attended college at the Catherine Labouré School of Nursing in Boston, where she graduated as a registered nurse in 1967. She went on to serve as a nurse in various capacities throughout the St. John Valley for 43 years. Known for her big heart and genuine compassion, she was deeply devoted to her patients and took great pride in caring for others. Even after her retirement, she continued to care for those who were sick or nearing the end of life in her local community, offering comfort, dignity, and kindness when it was needed most.

She married her best friend, Ronald "Bee" Guerrette, on November 23, 1967, and together they shared 41 loving and joyful years of marriage before he was suddenly called to his eternal home on November 21, 2008. Roberta leaves behind her beloved children, Rebecca Guerrette and her fiancé, Dale Carlson, Douglas Guerrette and his wife, Louise, Lola (Guerrette) Korn and her husband, Gregory, and Cristina (Guerrette) Kerluke and her husband, Dan. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to six adored grandchildren whose laughter and innocence brought her great joy, especially in her later years, Bradley, Allison, and Taylor Guerrette, Brandon and Arielle Korn, and Lilliana Kerluke. She was also very happy to welcome Lydia (Caron) Guerrette, Bradley's wife, into the family. Roberta is survived by her siblings, Michael Daigle, Susan (Daigle) Dubey, and Marcia (Daigle) Zai; and was predeceased by her siblings, Claudette (Daigle) Audibert and Donald Daigle. She leaves behind many extended family members, including her siblings' spouses, Rachel Daigle, Doreen Daigle, and David Zai; her in-laws, Carlene Pelletier, Rita and Jim Leonard, Tony and Solange Guerrette, Geneva Albert, and Angela and Mickey McBreairty; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Conrad Cyr, whose kindness meant so much to her.

Roberta believed life should be lived honestly, lovingly, and generously. She encouraged others to help those in need, to share their good fortune with the less fortunate, to forgive easily, and to laugh often. She believed the true joy of life is found in the journey, in cherishing moments and creating memories.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Valley Church in St. Agatha, Maine, on Saturday, February 7, at 10 a.m. Condolences to the family will be received at the church starting at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberta's memory may be sent to the St. Thomas Food Pantry, 309 St. Thomas St., Madawaska, ME 04756.
