Robert Joseph "Bob" Pelletier, 71, passed away peacefully in Brunswick, on March 15, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 16, 1947 in Lewiston, the son of Walter and Priscilla (Gendreau) Pelletier.
Bob graduated from Madawaska High School and married his high school sweetheart, Claire. He attended Southern Maine Vocational Institute, earned his Associate's degree in Machine Tool, and worked at Fraser Paper Company as a machinist. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Agatha, ME.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Claire, and their two children; Jon of Hampton, NH and Becky and her husband Kevin of Topsham; two adored grandchildren Addison and Caleb; siblings and their spouses Ruth and Ashley of Bangor, Ronald and Rita of Madawaska, Richard and Mary of Frenchville; many nieces and nephews; cousins; and wonderful friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Walter, his mother, Prescilla, and his niece, Meagan.
Bob was a man of faith and he led his life with strong beliefs and values. His kindness poured out to anyone who was lucky enough to chat with him. Those who knew Bob remember him as a man who strived to make others around him smile or laugh, with an endearing compliment or an amusing joke. He will be missed greatly by his loved ones; but so many of us will smile when thinking of him. This is a testament to how loved he truly was.
The family wishes to thank the medical staff at Midcoast Hospital, particularly the amazing ICU Staff, who were extremely caring and consoling to both Bob and the family in his final days.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
