BANGOR - BANGOR - Robert Carroll Curtis Sr. passed away Jan. 10, 2010, at Colonial Health Care, Lincoln. He was surrounded by family and loved ones at the time of his passing. He was born June 20, 1937, in Garland. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly (Andrews) Curtis; his children, Roxanne Hilton, Allison Mckenney, Robert C. Curtis Jr., Kimberly Guevemont, Eric Curtis and Melissa Johnson; four sisters, Arlene Moores, Helen Plummer, Lilla Demmons and Beverly Dauber; one brother, David Curtis; seven grandchildren, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a very special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald and Janie Andrews. He was predeceased by his mother, Hattie Kelly, in March 1980. There will be a celebration of his life 4 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Mckenney's residence, 42 Old County Road, West Enfield. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in his name to go to CancerCare of Maine, Brewer.
