Glenburn, Maine - Robert Caruso, 70, passed away on September 25, 2025, at Northern Light Hospital while in Hospice care after a long battle with bladder cancer. He was born on July 2, 1955, in Bangor, Maine, to parents Francis and Madeline Caruso.

Robert lived most of his life in the Glenburn Maine area. He was employed for more than 40 years as a pressman for the Bangor Daily News. Robert retired from BDN when they downsized. He then began working for his brother at Taylor Events and Equipment up until his death. He also took on various odd jobs for family and friends. He enjoyed sports, particularly the Red Sox and the Patriots. He loved camping, woodworking, and yard work - taking great pride in how his yard looked. He also loved scratching lottery tickets, but most of all, he loved making people smile and laugh - always being the life of the party. Robert lived life his way.

Robert leaves behind his wife, Vicki; his sons, Robert II (Heather) and Jesse Caruso; stepsons, Darrick and Jason (Leah); brothers and sisters, Don (Linda), Linda, Suzy (Chuck), Judy (Raymond), Francis II and Ted. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary, Max, Dominick, Cooper, Kayla, Olivia, and Isaac; and great-grandson, Michael. He was predeceased by his father, Francis; mother, Madeline; brothers, Jerry and Richard; and sister, Carol.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held in the spring, his favorite time of the year.
