Greenbush, Maine - Robert E. Myers Sr. "Bobby," 77, of Greenbush, has gone home to be reunited with his loving wife of 54 years, Bonnie, on April 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Greenbush after a short battle with cancer.
Bobby was well known as a hard working man that always provided for his family that he loved spending time with. He was also known for his short temper, always telling you what he thought, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Bobby was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division, that proudly served his country and received multiple awards and medals. Bobby was an avid sportsman that loved hunting and fishing, and would bring you to secret remote places that were challenging to get to so he could catch the biggest and most beautiful fish. He will be missed by all that loved him and never forgotten.
He is survived by his son, Robert Myers Jr. and daughter-in-law, Bobbi Jo Wheelock, of Hudson; daughter, Robin Ward and son-in-law, James, of Alton; grandchildren, Nikki Taylor and her husband, John, Kayla Vaz and her husband, Brad, Jacob Ward and his wife, Kenisha, Brooke, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Damin, Brielle, Octavia, Makenzee, and Dakota; his special canine friend, Lucy; brothers, Herbie and his wife, Linda, and Tommy; several nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Steve and Cheryl St. Louis. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Bonnie; his parents, Joseph and Theresa Myers, brothers, Jimmy and Dino Myers; and sisters, Joie and Peggy Myers.
