Greenfield - Richard "Dick" Watson, 93 passed away May 18, 2019, at his residence. He was born October 4, 1925, in St. Petersburg, FL, a son of Richard and Lillian (LeBrun) Watson.
He graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, Class of 1945, where he met Faith Madden Harris. Richard and Faith were married Feb 26, 1946, and made their home in Greenfield, raising four children. He worked as a welder and pipefitter for Local Union 716 for 60 plus years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling and built a beautiful camp on West Grand Lake where he enjoyed relaxing with his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children; son Richard D. Watson and Mary of Greenfield; two daughters Terrylie DeBeck and husband Gregg of Mariposa, CA and April Kochis of Dedham; 4 grandchildren Gregg DeBeck Jr. and wife Patty, Cody Kochis, Shawna Lynn Watson, Richard Watson; 2 great-grandchildren Faith and Ricky; cousin Leal "Dolly" Watson and Marlene. He was predeceased by his wife Faith in 1995; son Gary; and brother Herschel.
Burial will private at the Greenfield Cemetery.
