Richard Decray Kepner Obituary

Holden, Maine - Richard DeCray Kepner, was born in Audubon, NJ. He was a retired Air Force SSGT Veteran, and passed away on May 31, 2026, peacefully, at Togus springs residential Hospice. He was surrounded by his loved ones and family.

Whether you were family or not, Richard was a rock for many people, and had a heart of gold. He always wore his heart on his sleeve and would help out anyone in need. He was a very compassionate, patient, and generous man. He always spoke kind words and everyone loved to hear his words of wisdom. He loved gardening and was very passionate about it. He loved his cheesecake. He was always known as Dad to everyone.

Richard is survived by his brother, George Kepner; his six children, Brandy, Shannon, William, Travis, Raymond, and Rosalita; his three stepchildren, Antonio, Josh, and Jessica; and many more. He had many grandbabies he adored and loved so very much. If anybody knew Rich, his best friend was "Charlie," now he'll have to make new friends. He is now home with his mother, Ruth; and two sisters, Ellie and Ruthie, planting his garden happily and being pinched by his mom.

Richard was also very close to the Lord and wanted that for everyone around him. He will be missed by so many.

We will be doing a celebration of life on July 25, 2026.
