Bangor, Maine - Regina Philomena Sides passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born on April 7, 1939, the daughter of Georg and Philomena (Eitel) Gutmann.
Regina grew up in Germany, moving to the United States in 1967 when she married her husband, Wilmer Sides. Together, they celebrated 57 years of marriage, raising two children. Regina loved traveling, often visiting family in Germany. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved time spent with family.
Regina is survived by her loving husband, Wimer; daughters, Claudia Sides and partner, Joey Neault, and Annelise Nassos and husband, Jordan; grandsons, Tyler McAlister, Yannik Nassos, and David Nassos; and sister, Crista Meidel and husband, Volker.
Memorial services will be announced in Fall 2025. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
