Charleston, Maine - Rebecca Elaine 'Becky' (Olmsted) Amero, 86, wife of the late Arnold V. Amero, passed away peacefully at a Dover-Foxcroft Health Care Facility on Apr. 5, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1931, in Charleston, the daughter of Wendell and Ethel Mae (Higgins) Olmsted.
She is survived by two sons, Gary and his wife, Cathy, and Dennis and his wife, Marcia; one daughter, Lainie Amero; three grandsons, Jonathan, Thomas and his wife, Hanna, and Ethan and his wife, Lisa; a granddaughter, Sadie and her husband, Justin; great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn, Allyson, Lilly, Alexa, Maci, Gordon, and Jackson. She was predeceased by Gary's first wife, Diedre (DeeDee).
At Becky's request, there will be no service or viewing. Those who wish may make donations in Becky's memory to Beacon Hospice, 289 State Street, Suite B, Bangor, ME 04401. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
