Ray William Jalbert

Fort Kent - Ray William Jalbert, 86, passed into the arms of our Lord on July 19, 2019. He was born in St. Francis on February 3, 1933, son of the late Sam and Delia (Jandreau) Jalbert.
Ray was an experienced Maine Guide and United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by three siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by seven siblings.
In keeping with Ray's wishes there will be no funeral services. Ray will rest at the Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home. For online condolences please visit, www.lajoiefuneralhome.com

Ray was a rare individual and the last of a generation of pioneers who made the Allagash famous. Just knowing he is gone leaves a void. Condolences to the family.
