Alton, Maine - Peter F. McCormack, 70, died unexpectedly July 29, 2025, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born April 22, 1955, in Lincoln, a son of Franklin E. and Joyce A. (Carr) McCormack.

Peter loved his family dearly, and always had a dog by his side. He will be fondly remembered for his gift of gab and his ability to make friends anywhere he went. He loved to ride motorcycles, snowmobiles, and go four-wheeling with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda L. (McLaughlin) McCormack; son, Sean McCormack; grandchildren, Katelyn, Trinity, and Scarlett; great-grandsons, Caysen and a soon to arrive, Baby Boy McCormack; brother, Dan McCormack; sisters, Beth Davis, and Amy McCormack and her wife, Cynthia Ingalls; mother-in-law, Eloise McLaughlin; sister-in-law, Beverly Monsulick; brother-in-law, Fred McLaughlin Jr. and his wife, Eva; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and father-in-law, Fred "Buster" McLaughlin Sr.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at Alton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
