Auburn, Maine - Pauline E. Brailey, 86, of Auburn, passed away quietly in her sleep on May 31, 2026. She was born April 18, 1940, in Etna, Maine, the daughter of Joseph and Pearl (Downs) Lavway of Etna.

She is survived by one brother, Lawrence Lavway; and by her daughter, Patricia St. Peter; granddaughters, Kristen, Jessie, Brandy, Denali, Marissa, and Zianna and their children; and adopted son, Randy. She was predeceased by sons, Roland Jr. and Joseph; and brothers, Paul, Harland, and Francis.

Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to church and reading her Bible. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
