Paul C. Tilley
Words cannot express how much we appreciate all the people who worked on the third floor at EMMC caring for Paul. From the doctors, nurses, and Beacon Hospice in Bangor, they were all very compassionate and kept Paul comfortable as the family had requested.
We also want to thank Al and his staff at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home for his funeral. So kind and compassionate.
Pastor Peter Remick gave such a moving, personal service of Paul. If you didn't know Paul very well, you certainly did at the end of the service.
We want to thank our many friends, family, and neighbors for their prayers, food, phone calls, and donations to the Bucksport Animal Shelter in his name. Paul was an animal lover, especially of German Shepherds, but due to their size and his inability to care for them, after the last one was euthanized, he met and loved his dog, Daisy, a Labrador Retriever, who was a surrender, and she loved him as well and loved to ride in the truck with him. They were frequent visitors at Dock Side in Bucksport to visit with retirees that he had worked with at Champion International to keep up with the events of the day.
Many thanks to George Macleod of Bucksport for catering the food which was at the Prospect Community Dining Room after Paul's funeral, and friends, Denise, Edna, Linda, and Becky for arranging the food.
To my girls, Rosemarie and Lisa, and son-in-law, Dwayne, thank you for helping me walk through this very sad time.
From wife, Barbara, and family of Paul C. Tilley.
