Paul A. Thomas
Paul graduated Orono High School, the class of 1978, and was in the masonry and carpentry industry. he built a house for Michelle, that they shared and cherished for 19 years.
He enjoyed fishing at Hurd Pond, Moosehead Lake, and Pleasant Lake in Island Falls, among other places, and when Paul was not fishing or working, he loved just being home.
He also was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and the University of Maine sports teams.
He was predeceased by his mother, Theresa; brother, Mark; niece, Shannon; mother-in-law, Judy Moore; and his big boy, Yukon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Moore) Thomas; his dad, Walter; brothers, Ray of Orono, Glenn and sister-in-law, Sue, of Veazie; in-laws, Ronald Moore, Lori and William Moffatt, Ron and Deb Moore; Gary and Debbie Hathaway; many nieces and nephews, special fishing buddy and friend, Kenny Currier; and "best boss ever", Jeremy Wood.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Cancer Care of Maine for the care given to Paul while he was there, and especially, Jan Pilotte, NP who was very special to Paul and Michelle.
A Celebration of Life will be June 1st, from 1 - 4 p.m. at our home, 280 Kirkland Road, Old Town, ME.
