Bangor, Maine - Paul McCormick passed away on July 14, 2026, at his home after a battle with accute emphysema, he was 89. Paul was born November 2, 1936, in Scranton, PA.

Paul graduated from Dickson City High School in 1954 and joined the Air Force shortly after graduation. He was stationed in several countries before his last station at Dow Air Force Base in Bangor. During his life he had several jobs. He worked at Nissen's Bakery Co. in Brewer for 32 years before retiring. He then went to work at Shaw's Supermarket for 22 years. Paul was a very outgoing, friendly guy and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, June and Walter McCormick; and his two sons, Kevin and Timothy. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Linda; his special son, Michael; special daughter, Mona; two grandsons, T.J. McCormick and wife, Rachel, and Tyler and partner, Chelsy; and five great-grandchildren.

A private family observance will be held. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Bangor Humane Society if you wish.
