Patricia G. Russell, 92, passed away peacefully at her home on March 3, 2025. She was born April 12, 1932, in Milo, the daughter of Judson C. and Hilda (Barden) Gerrish.
Patricia graduated from Milo High School in 1949, and Eastern Maine General school of nursery in 1952. She worked as an RN at Eastern Maine, Togus and Milo Community Hospital. Patricia enjoyed time at camp at Schoodic Lake and Ebeeme Pond, cooking and baking for gatherings, playing the piano and organ, making quilts, knitting, and making crafts for craft fairs with her husband, and caring for her granddaughters.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard L. Russell of Milo; daughter, Michele Russell of Milo; son, Michael G. Russell and wife, Stacia, of Atkinson; two special granddaughters, Sarah Willinski and Amber Willinski; sisters, Alice Walden, Jean Bishop, and Caroline Wilkins; brother, Judson Gerrish; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Judson and Hilda Gerrish; and a sister, Stella Greene.
At her request there will be no funeral service at this time. The family would like to thank Beacon Hospice for helping and being there and being such an amazing team. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Memories and messages of condolence may be expressed at laryfuneralhome.com.
