Lewiston, Maine - Patricia Anne Dupont died on April 29, 2026, at Andwell House in Lewiston, Maine, in the company of her foster daughter and beloved companion, Frances May Auclair.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Donozor and Lillian Dupont; and her sister, Anita Durant. She is survived by her sister, Marie Bernatchez; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia graduated as valedictorian from St. Louis School and St. Dominic's High School, then entered the Dominican Sisters in Mortefontaine, France. She earned her BA at Emmanuel College and her MA at Boston College. Patricia was an accomplished musician, playing piano, organ, and multiple instruments. After spending 17 years as a Dominican religious, Patricia moved to Nashua, New Hampshire, and taught music at Bicentennial School. She was married to Maurice Hudon for 17 years then moved back to Maine, finishing her musical career in Bangor. She and Frances shared homes in Medway, Millinocket, Orland, Lakeland, Florida, and Lincoln. She loved to travel and visited throughout the west. She also traveled to Canada, Mexico and throughout Europe. Patricia was committed to visiting shut-ins and bringing them communion as a member of St Michael's Episcopal Church. She also served as the temporary organist.

There will be a funeral service at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 78 Pleasant St., Auburn, Maine on May 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. This will be followed by a reception at the church. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, Lewiston, Maine. At her request, donations may be sent to the Church Memorial Fund in her name or to the charity of your choice.
