Bangor, Maine - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia L. (Ackley) House, 85, of Bangor, Maine, who went to be with her savior July 9, 2026. Pat was born in Cutler to Edgar and Inez (Look) Ackley.

She graduated from Washington Academy in 1958 and Washington State Teacher's College in 1962. Pat worked as a secretary for several local companies. Crafting and scrapbooking were favorite pass-times, and she was an avid reader. She especially loved genealogy and researching her family history.

Pat is survived by her husband, Bob House; daughter, Brooke Hart; grandchildren, Lynnsey Canady, Danny Hartford, Jordan Hartford, and Alexis Verburgt; great-granddaughter, Jessica Hartford; great-grandson, Caiden Kennedy; and sister, Brenda Rogerson. She was predeceased by her parents; and two sisters, Darlene and Wanda.

Friends and family are invited to visiting hours 12 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. and a reception immediately following the service - all at Bragdon- Kelley Funeral Home, 220 Court St., Machias ME. Burial will follow the reception at Jacksonville Cemetery, East Machias, Maine. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Machias, where online condolences may be shared: bragdonkelley.com.
