Belfast - BELFAST - Pastor Betty A. Moulton, 72, died unexpectedly Sunday August 9, 2015 Waldo County General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born in Knox, November 18, 1942 the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Davis) Hanson.


Betty pastored Mason Mills House of Prayer Church in Belfast the past 7 years, Betty loved to preach about God and read the Bible, she was a very religious woman. She enjoyed watching birds and squirrels.


She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Norman B. Moulton daughters; Sally Viner and her husband Tim and their children, Mikayla and Erika and her son Ayden, Sheri Umel and her husband Tom and their children; Jessica, James and Joshua, one sister Christine Grant as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her siblings; Florence Dyer, Doris Cook, Beatrice Hustus, Earlwin Raven, Margarite Harvey, Bernice Barstow and Viola Welch.


Family and friends will gather for visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Young Funeral Home 31 West Main Street Searsport. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday August 13, 2015 at Searsport Full Gospel Church, East Main Street Searsport. Interment will be at Kenney Cemetery in Brooks following the service. www.mitchelltweedie-young.com
