Saint Louis Crossing, IN, Indiana - Oliver "Ollie" William Cowan passed away from Leukemia on September 21, 2020, in Columbus, Indiana, with his sons by his side. He was born in Dixmont, Maine, December 12, 1946. He was adopted by William and Bertha Cowan in 1956.

He married Sandy Hogan (Ficklin) in 1967, although divorced they have remained friends for many years. Ollie leaves behind children, William G. Cowan of Columbus, IN, C. Brian Cowan of St. Louis Crossing, IN, and Cathy (Chris) Eveleigh of Rogers, Texas. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tyler Cowan; grandson, Sawyer Eveleigh; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Cowan.

A Celebration of Life for Ollie will be on Saturday, October 3, at St. Louis Crossing Baptist Church in St. Louis Crossing, Indiana from 2-7 p.m. A short service will be held and a meal to follow.
