Orland, Maine - Olive "Olie" Louise Brown Daily of Orland, ME, passed away on March 15, 2026, at 92 years of age.

She is survived by her daughter, Verna M. Buchanan of Old Town, ME; her daughter, Donna J. Vonderau of Corinth, ME; her daughter, Linda Harriman-Frost and son-in-law, Gary W. Frost Sr., of Orland, ME; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family. She was predeceased by her husband, George "Buddy" Dallas Daily Jr.; and all maternal and paternal family.

Olive was born in Malden, MA, to her parents, Charles Garcelon Brown and Hallie Hall Hutchings Brown, and raised in Medford, MA, however she had roots in Orland, ME, by her maternal grandfather, Capt. Fred Hutchings; and her paternal grandfather, Charles W. Brown, MD. Olive was an RN, trained at the Deaconess Hospital in MA, and worked most of her career at the former Castine Hospital and then the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena, FL. She was a lifelong member of Rebekahs, a service-oriented organization that is a branch of the Order of Odd Fellows. Olive was an avid reader who also enjoyed going out for rides, always up for an adventure. She had many lifelong friendships, and most weekends would find her hosting a houseful of guests "the ladies," playing cards and socializing. She was a loving and common-sense person who will be very missed.

There will be an informal celebration of life on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Orland Community Center, 21 School House Rd., Orland, ME.
