Bangor, Maine - Nancy M. (Drolet) Moreau, 76, passed away on July 4, 2026, surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Lawerance and Gladys Drolet; and a half brother, Harold Drolet. She was married to the love of her life, Jeffrey T. Moreau, with whom she shared 14 beautiful years of companionship, laughter, and deep affection. Nancy is survived by two daughters, Amy (Bickford) Gaff, her husband, Burnham Gaff Jr., of Bedford, NH, and their children, Lukas and Alexis Gaff, and Jennifer (Bickford) Davenport and her husband, Marc Davenport, of Bucksport, ME, and their children, Kimberly and Brandon Davenport. She opened her heart to many others who came to know her simply as "Mom." Among them was Keith York, who cherished her as a second mother throughout his life. Keith and his wife Lisa, of California, blessed Nancy with three grandchildren, Victoria, Ashley, and Jeremy, each of whom she adored. Nancy also embraced her stepdaughter, Megan Thibodeau, and loved her three children as part of her own family. She was further blessed with nine great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Nancy dedicated many years to health care, where her compassion, patience, and steady presence touched countless lives. She also embraced her creative spirit as the owner of a Nancy's Scrapbooking, a place where she helped others preserve their memories. Nancy found peace and purpose in her flower gardens, tending to them daily with the same care and patience she offered the people in her life. Her home was a welcoming place, where friends often stopped by to sit on her porch, share a conversation, and enjoy her warm, easy company. She had a heart that never hesitated to help anyone in need, offering support, comfort, or simply a listening ear.

Nancy shared a special friendship with Kelly and her son, Aidan, whose companionship meant so much to her. She also adored her beloved cat, Gracie, who was always by her side and brought her comfort and joy. Nancy's legacy lives on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the traditions she passed down, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the way she made everyone around her feel loved.

A celebration of life will be held later with family and friends.
