Nancy Dubino
Greenfield - Nancy Dubino, 86, of Greenfield, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was a resident of Bangor between 1973 and 1982 and with her outgoing, loving personality, she forged many relationships during her stay in Bangor.
She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on 9/12/33, graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1956 and moved to Southern California to begin her teaching career. It was there she met Officer Andrew Dubino where they eventually married.
Nancy lived in many states due to her husband's position in the military. Andrew eventually retired as a Navy Commander in 1973 while the family lived in Minnesota, and to escape the cold weather, the family of 6 packed up with their lifelong dog Maxie and moved to Bangor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, who also passed away two years prior on Superbowl Sunday. They may have a chuckle about that sometime in the afterlife.
Nancy loved life, her family and all people. Her true passion was golf. She developed into quite a good player, even notching the elusive hole-in-one twice. She ended her teaching career at Greenfield Community College in the Business Dept.
Her Christian values were always evident. Nancy sought the good in others; was kind, gentle, and considerate. She is truly missed.
She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Jeanne, Carrie, Lisa and Andrew; 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service in Greenfield, MA, will be announced shortly. Expressions of condolence may be made at NANCYCONDOLENCES@YAHOO.COM.
