Dover-Foxcroft, Maine - Myra C. Grant, 81, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2nd. 2019 at Hibbard's Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born September 18, 1937 in Garland, the daughter of Arthur and Marion (Cunningham) Haskell. Myra enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. Myra was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years. She is survived by her sisters, Caroline Clement and Madeline Petrie; her brothers, Charles Haskell and twin brother, Merle Haskell; her children, Robert Grant of Veazie, Kevin Grant and wife, Nancy of Ripley, Burgess Grant and partner Rose of Dover-Foxcroft, Karen Maharaj and husband Raj of Myrtle Beach, SC and Eric Grant and wife Marcie of Bradford; grandchildren, Becky Prescott , Amy Miller, Angie McCullagh, Mike Grant, Matt Grant, Allison Smart, Kristina Mower, Katie Grant, Suzanna Barrette and Courtney Erickson as well as 14 great-grandkids.

At the family's request there will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory, Sunday, June 9th, from 1-5 PM at the Piscataquis Valley Fair Ground's Dining Hall in Dover-Foxcroft. Those who wish may make donations in Myra's memory to a charity of their choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
