Melissa Gay Ewell Hall
She was a graduate of Abington High School, and Westbrook Junior College. She married her beloved husband Robert W. Hall on June 17, 1961. They lived in Abington, East Bridgewater, and Whitman, Mass, before moving to Cherryfield. She worked for many years as a medical secretary for Dr. Welch, in Whitman, Mass, and then as a secretary for Cherryfield Elementary, and was very proud of her 19 years there. Her interests included oil painting, working with children, field hockey, and volunteering wherever she was needed.
She was a Majority member Order of Rainbow Girls, Order of Eastern Star in Whitman, MA; Sunday School Superintendent in East Bridgewater, MA; a member of the Congregational Church in Cherryfield, Maine. She especially enjoyed working with the Seacoast Mission Christmas for Kids.
Her pride was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband Robert W. Hall; their three children-son Bruce Hall and his wife Laurie of Milbridge, grandson Bruce Jr. and wife Eileen, great-granddaughter Eleanor, and granddaughter Laura Lee and partner Chris, great grandchildren Camden and Aseneth; daughter Lynda Hall Beal and her husband Leland of Milbridge, granddaughter Mindi Beal and partner Willie Coombs, grandson Matthew and his partner Shelbi, and great-granddaughter Aleighya. son Chuck Hall and his wife Michelle of Verona Island, granddaughter Kayla and her husband Adam, great grandchildren Makenzie, Makenna, and Kayson. A daughter-in-law Maria Wight; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son Glen Robert Hall, 2 brothers Richard and Donald Ewell, and a sister Betsy (Ewell) Robohm.
Melissa was living at the Marshall Healthcare Facilty where she touched the lives of all who worked with her.
Services will be held 1pm Monday June 17, 2019 at the Cherryfield Congregational Church. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherryfield.
