Mary M. Leach
Mary was employed at Sears and Roebuck Co. from August of 1956 to October of 1968. After time spent at home with her children, she returned to work at A.R.Gould Memorial Hospital in the patient accounts department. She retired after 25 years of employment at TAMC in the year 2000. Mary was inducted to the Daughters of Isabella in 1972 and remained an active member for the remainder of her life. Mary continued to be an active parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic church in Presque Isle, Maine.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Karen Yencha and her husband Robert of Scarborough, son Michael and his wife Tara of Westfield, grandchildren; Ian Yencha and his wife Christie, Ali Yencha, Evan, Ezra and Jaron Leach, Zackarie, Jared and Julia Lunney, Ashleigh Bouchard and her Husband Cleo, and great granddaughter, Nora Jane Yencha, great grandsons Julian Yencha and Cyrus Bouchard. Siblings, Roger Marquis and wife Opal, Betty Allen and husband Gary, Patricia Garnsey, Marcella Leblanc and husband Edgar, Nancy Littlefield, Myra Hoffses and husband Dennis and Wanda Durrell.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Darrell, sister Delores Pelkey, brothers in law, Percy Pelkey, Charles Garnsey, Sonny Littlefield, and Randy Durrell.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 9-10 a.m. at Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Presque Isle where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am. The interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle; a reception will be held following interment at the K of C Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Aroostook House of Comfort. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com
