Millinocket, Maine - Marjory A. (Farquhar) Moore, 99, died peacefully May 19, 2026, at KHC surrounded by her family. She was born on January 7, 1927, in Millinocket, the daughter of John C. and Helen (Lewis) Farquhar.

She graduated from Stearns High School, class of 1945. Marjory spent many years volunteering for a variety of organizations. Marjory was quite an adventurist. She loved camp at Norcross, snow sledding, any of her family's activities, a good road trip, and just time spent with her family and friends. At the age of 90, she went skydiving for her birthday! She spent many years with Order of Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, and the Northern Timber Cruisers. She was also a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church of Millinocket, where she was a beloved member of their women's fellowship. That is where she married Ralph B. Moore, June 29, 1946. Together they shared 58 years.

She is survived by her five children, Michael (Kaye), David (Judy), and James (Jan), all of Millinocket, Evelyn Bishop (Richard) of Surry, and Linda Valley (Stan) of Millinocket; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Donald and Stewart Farquhar. Marjory was predeceased by Ralph B. Moore; three brothers, Douglas, Gordan, and John Farquhar; her daughter-in-law, Kimthong Moore; and grandson, Brian Valley.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church, Millinocket with service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church afterwards.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First Congregational Church of Millinocket or the Champion for the Cure.
