Mae Goodridge Eaton Obituary
Sangerville, Maine - Mae Eaton, 91, of Sangerville, Maine, went to be with the Lord August 18, 2024. She was born March 4, 1933, in Manchester, CT, to George W. Sr. and Sadie Goodridge (Abbood).
Mae was predeceased by her husband, Robert Eaton in 2005. She is survived by her brother, George W. Jr. and wife, Rose Goodridge, of Burnham; and three children, Bruce Bane and wife, Brenda, of Bangor, William Bane and companion, Kay Clark, of Newport, and Donna Benson and partner, Gene Mountain, of Dexter. Mae was the proud grandmother of Julie Bane, Joseph Bane and wife, Alicia, Karena Cyr and husband, Joe, and Jessica Lockhart and husband, Michael. She also had seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Julian, Owen, Cadence, Jacoby, Beckham, Mila and Julie.
Mae loved music and played piano for the church in Ripley and Dexter, for many years. She also loved volunteering for the Guilford food pantry for her dear friend, Al Hunt. She also had several nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by many friends.
A private family gathering will be held in the Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine, at a later date where she will be interred next to her late husband, Bob.
