Patten, Maine - Loren C. Goode Sr., 77, died August 30, 2025, at his home. He was born October 17, 1947, in Bangor the son of Orren and Lois (Phillbrick) Goode.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He retired from Baxter State Park after 36 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Regina (Jordan) Goode of Patten; one son, Loren Goode Jr. of Patten; one daughter, Lorrie Ann Goode of Eddington and her son, Jordan Patrick Goode; one sister, Gloria Jordan of Hampden; one brother, Roger and Nancy Goode of Hampden. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Durwin and his wife, Linda Goode; and one sister, Marcia and her husband, Jerry Veiring.

A memorial service will be held at Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church in Patten on Saturday, September 20, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joyce Tang officiating.
