Lois O. Morton

Bucksport - Lois O. Morton, 77, went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family June 3rd, 2019, in Bangor. Lois was born January 19th, 1942, at Castine Community Hospital, Castine ME, to James and Claire Robbins.
Lois graduated from Bucksport High School in 1960 and later attended the Maine School of Practical Nursing in Waterville.
Lois worked as an LPN at Waldo County General Hospital, where she met and married her husband Eugene Morton of 53 years.
Lois loved her flowers and birds, sitting in the backyard in Bucksport with her coffee, and listening to the morning songs of Mother Nature.
She is survived by Eugene Morton (husband); Michael Morton (son) and Patsy Armitage of Old Town; Troy Morton (son) and Christina Morton (wife) of Eddington; Melissa Smith (daughter) and Adam Smith (husband) of Exeter; and brother Douglas Robbins of Bucksport; grandchildren, Emily Seymour and Jordan of Orrington, Kyle Morton of Eddington and Abigail Smith of Exeter; great-grandchildren, Nathan Seymour and soon, Madelyn Seymour of Orrington.
Lois wishes were to not have a funeral or graveside service, but a celebration of life, which will be later this summer.
In lieu of flowers, family has asked to make donations to Cancer Care of Maine or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Troy and Family,
I didn't have the pleasure to have met your Mother but I sympathize with your loss. Mom's are special to each of us and the loss seems immeasurable. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will be making a donation in your Mothers' name to St Jude. May God bless you and be with you at this difficult time.
