Millinocket, Maine - Lois Ann and Joseph Pelletier Jr., united in life, together in death, Lois Ann and Joseph died two days apart.

Lois Ann, born June 15, 1936, in Millinocket, entered into Eternal Life on June 2, 2026, at Hibbards Nursing Home (Dover-Foxcroft). Lois Ann graduated from Saint Martin's High School in 1953. Her parents were Henry P. Bouchard and Ida (Soucy) Bouchard. Lois Ann was a member of the Red Hatters Society.

Joseph, born July 5, 1935, in Fort Kent, entered into Eternal Life on June 4, 2026, at Millinocket Regional Hospital. Joseph graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1953. Joseph moved to Millinocket and worked at Great Northern Paper Company, retiring in 1994. His parents were Joseph Pelletier Sr. and Alvina (Nadeau) Pelletier. Joseph was a third degree Knight of Columbus.

Lois Ann and Joseph married on October 6, 1956; they would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this year. Both were members of Saint Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church.

Lois Ann and Joseph are survived by their children, Steven Pelletier (Beverly), Gale Linscott (Arthur), Joel Pelletier (Mary Ellen), and Corey Pelletier (Connie). They are also both survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition, Lois Ann is survived by her sister, Elaine Malloch (Dennis); and Joseph is survived by his sister, Aline Maheu (Richard). They are both predeceased by their grandson, Aaron Lyons. Lois Ann was predeceased by three brothers, Henry Bouchard, Jr., Paul Bouchard, and James Bouchard. Joseph was predeceased by three siblings, Mary Roy (Bill), Vinton Pelletier (Bebé), and Patsy Kissinger.

Lois Ann and Joseph were each other's best friends, loved to travel, and even spent their 50th wedding anniversary on top of the Eiffel Tower. We could not have picked a better set of parents.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Saint Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 19 Colby St., Millinocket, ME. Interment will follow at Millinocket Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared online at bowersfuneral.com.
