Augusta, Maine - Linda Moody, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. Born in New York, New York, Linda later spent years in Florida before making her home in Maine.

Linda dedicated her career to being a special education teacher. She was married to her beloved late husband, Gerald W. Moody Sr. Linda was a mother to six children, Philip, Kris, Roger, Mandy, Angelique, and Gerald. Linda also shared a special bond with her siblings, James Smith, who preceded her in death; and her cherished older sister, Catherine Johnson, who survives her. Family connections meant everything to Linda, "This too shall pass," as she would say. Her friend, Tammy, perhaps said it best: "Above all, Linda loved doing things for, and with, her family."

Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
