Corinth, Maine - Lewis Alan Goodwin, 78, the husband of the late Irene V. Goodwin died unexpectedly at his home in Corinth on February 13, 2020. He was born on February 26th, 1941 in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Lou was an auto mechanic and worked in his shop at his home for nearly 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and 3D archery shooting whenever he could. He was a member of the Central Maine Fish and Game Club for decades.

He is survived by three sons, Grant and his girlfriend Hollie, Alan and his fiance Sarah, and Edwin and his wife Vicki; a sister Nancy Ridder and her husband Richard of Plymouth Massachusetts; and a close friend Paul Matulis.

The family also would like to thank Shane Thornton who was a great neighbor and was so helpful during the last two years of his life.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
