Castle Hill - Leo A. "Bub" Nadeau, Jr., 77, passed away February 12, 2020, after a battle with cancer. He was born in Presque Isle, ME on May 9, 1942, the son of Leo and Geneva (Perkins) Nadeau.
Bub worked hard most of his life, whether it was working in the woods, logging, to his true passion of making chips, you could always find him doing something. In between selling his chips at local farmer markets, you could find him with his pride and joy, his great-granddaughter.
Bub is survived by his wife of 53 years, Penny Nadeau; his daughter, Kimberly and her spouse, Troy Finnemore of Easton; his son, Michael and his spouse, Melissa Nadeau of Gorham; granddaughters, Amanda Robbins of Glenburn, Kacie Getchell of Castle Hill, Bailee Getchell of Presque Isle; and great-granddaughter, Emma Lovely. Bub will be deeply missed by family and community.
There will be private services in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, ME 04769. Memories and condolences may be shared at duncan-graves.com
